Weekend Round Up 7th/8th June

The unsettled weather leading to risk of lightning strikes on the tops resulted in the organisers setting an alternative bad-weather route for the British and English Fell Champs counter at the ENNERDALE HORSESHOE FELL RACE.

Julie Cox clocked 1.55.31 to finish 2nd FV40 and 3rd Female overall at the BIG WELSH TRAIL HALF MARATHON held in the Coed Llandegla Forest near Wrexham.

Glossopdale was represented in the LAMM MOUNTAIN MARATHON held in the Coulin Forest mountain area near Strathcarron.

Lindsay Palmer and Alison Holt were  2nd Female Vets and 3rd Female pairing  in the C Class whilst John Hewitt and Mark Vogan were 29th in the score Class having an excellent 2nd Day.
