Late January Report

Kirsty Johnson represented the club at the NORTHERN CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS held at Ponterfact. In a high quality field led home by Stockport Harrier Elle Vernon, Kirsty clocked 36.07 to finish 101st out of 342 runners. Results:-

SENIOR MEN

Neil McGraw recorded a PB of 1.25.36 in the NEWCASTLE RACECOURSE HALF-MARATHON. Neil finished in 8th position out of 91 runners and was second MV40.

RESULTS

Chris Jackson and Caity Rice made the short trip to race at the MELTHAM 10K. This is a very tough 10K as can be evidenced by the winner’s time of 37.28. Chris finished in 20th position with a time of 40.36 whilst Caity finished 33rd in 42.09, just 13 seconds behind 1st lady Amy Green of Keighley & Craven AC.
