Four harriers travelled to a remarkably snow-free Heaton Park to race in the SOUTH-EAST LANCS CROSS-COUNTRY LEAGUE penultimate counter. On a sunny and as pleasant a day as you can get in January, Caity won her first ladies only race and also became the first ever Glossopdale Harrier to win a cross-country. Special mentions also for great runs by Sharn (39th/80), Chris (18th) and Neil (28th/124)
With one race left at Boggart Hole Clough and three races to count for the women, XC Captain Kirsty is in a good position in the overall series.
Julien Minshull made a welcome return to competitive action and was first Glossopdale Harrier at a snowy KINDER TRIAL. On a shortened course due to underfoot conditions, Carl Bedson recovering from injury was second home for the blue and orange. Lindsay also had a good run to finish 4th women and 2nd FV45 behind winner Nicky Spinks.
