On the weekend the clocks went forward the weather went backward. On a stormy weekend first of all a big shout out to all those race organisers, friends, marshalls, MRT who make races happen. Their job is always made harder on bad weather days.Thanks also for the support that we almost always seem to get when we race for our special little club!
There was an excellent turnout of twelve GDHrs for the Fell Champs counter at LADS LEAP. Conditions were wet and windy with heavy underfoot going due to incessant rain leading up to and during the race. Tim Budd took the 30 pts in a very tight finish with Steve Knight. Lins was 1st FV45 and along with Rachel and Lynne took the Womens Team Prize. GDH results:-

Also in very difficult conditions six harriers took on the DON MORRISON MEMORIAL EDALE SKYLINE RACE. Mark Ollerenshaw finished in an excellent 7th place, debutant Matt Huxford in 25th, Tim, Rich, Zoe and Jude did remarkably well on a day when finishing the race was an achievement in itself.
