On her birthday Becky Thompson ran a personal best time at Marple Parkrun. She was chased all the way to the finish by soon to be husband Darren who also recorded a PB. Happy birthday Becky and well done to the two of them !
The Harriers had a big presence at the ASICS MANCHESTER MARATHON. Amongst the runners pride of place must go to to Steve Crossman who went sub 3hrs for the first time. There were personal best times also for Neil McGraw (by a huge margin), Caity Rice (amazingly having raced the day before), Tim Nudds, Ian McGarry and Ian Oates.
These are the provisional chip times for the Glossopdale runners:-
Steve Crossman | 2.58.47 |
Neil McGraw | 3.04.17 |
Tim Nudds | 3.04.41 |
Caity Rice | 3.08.32 |
Ian McGarry | 3.38.21 |
Ian Oates | 3.41.41 |
Dan Ellingworth | 4.34.29 |
As well as running in the race Dan Ellingworth had organised a team of Glossop marshals thus securing funds for the future Glossop Parkrun. Thanks to everyone involved!
