Mary Jeal was 191st in 78.25 at the HOPE FELL RACE

Runners at Marple, Penrhyn and Lyme Park where Nev clocked up his 100th with a course PB. There were also PBs for Steve Knight who was 1st back in a club record time of 19.03, Chris Jackson who was 2nd and John Stephenson. Caity was 3rd, Neil 5th and good running by Phil, Malc, Elanor, Josie and Caitlin who were making their debuts at Lyme Park.

Chris Jackson had another excellent run to finish 5th at the 9.8K/340m GREAT HUCKLOW FELL RACE, a counter in the ACCELERATE SERIES. Caity was 1st Lady and Tony also finished strongly.

Chris was also in action at the HATHERSAGE GALA FELL RACE where he finished 20th in 34.45
Great news from the COTSWOLD OUTDOOR NORTH WALES SERIES!
‘With six of the nine races having taken place we can now see potential prize-winners emerging, though it can all change at the end. The V40 category is particularly competitive, with that age group making up the majority of those who have managed to complete all six so far. Standing head and shoulders above all is Jez Brown of Buckley Runners, leading the overall Series by quite a margin. However he is followed by Tim Budd of Glossopdale Harriers and Rob Grantham of Pensby, both of whom have done only 5 races and will surely be up there with at the end. Dave Parker of Meirionnydd is also a strong contender.’
