  5. A racey weekend across...

We had a good number of people out racing this weekend, along with those who were out on longer preparation runs for future marathons and such.

National Cross-country – Mike Mawby and Kirsty Johnson did us proud, Mike coming in 522nd, and Kirsty, a superb 255th in the toughest race of the XC calendar.

A number of the club were at the Radcliffe 10, with the ever-young Mr.Crossman leading the charge.
10th Steve Crossman
16th Chris Jackson
18th Caity Rice
21st John Hewitt
29th Tom Skelton
83rd Andy Burnett
102nd Clive Smith

Alasdair Cowell came in 37th, and Nick Ham was 82nd at Flower Scar over in Todmorden on Saturday.

At New Chew, Mark Ollerenshaw had a decent run, winning the Short Course, and Lindsay Palmer was 3rd Lady – (maybe 7th overall?) in the Long course.
Impressive all round, with a decent spread of races across the board!
