All in all, a pretty good weekend.

On the Fells – Carl and Linds were off at the Penistone hill race this Saturday 12th October. Carl came storming in at 10th, 1st V40, and Linds was 1st V45 netting them both a trophy and (somewhat more importantly) some wine and a cake.

At the Park run – Over at Marple, Mark Ollerenshaw had a stonking debut run, setting a new bar for Glossopdalers to aspire to, with a 17:30 5k. Meanwhile, at the same run, Beryl continued her run of good form to improve on her PB, and be 1st female on the age-grade marple park run table. 

On the Road – What’s more, today (sunday) Caity decided that she didn’t really want to stick around in the rainy Peak district, and so headed off to Munich for the marathon. (Apparently there was a little more forethought and planning than that, but you know what I mean). She stormed around the course, with a negative split, in 3:17. I think that’s the fastest Female time for 2013 so far. Very impressive.
