Black Knight/Sale Sizzler

There was another good representation of harriers for the second time in a week, this time at the 6 mile BLACK KNIGHT CHARGE trail race. This race, the 5th counter in our Road/Trail Champs is organised by East Cheshire Harriers and is a testing 6 miler around Daisy Nook Country Park. Yet again, Tim Budd had an excellent race finishing 8th overall in a classy field to bag the 30 points on offer, Steve Knight 29 points and Steve Crossman 28 points but also 30 points in the Age Grade Champs. Jo Brack claimed the 30 points for 1st female and is now the current leader in the Ladies Road/Trail Champs. Emma Peters (U20) and Ezme Brack (junior race) were also awarded prizes for their runs. The men also claimed 3rd place in the team competition, no mean feat in a competitive field, only beaten by the host club and a Stockport team containing Andi Jones and Jamie Scott-Buccleuch.
