Chunal Moor/ wormstones

Just so you know, this sign has recently gone up at the bottom of Chunal moor on the path up to Wormstones. Evidently it’s not great that there has been (allegedly) incidence of sheep being killed, but equally, its not great that a “dog ban” might occur.

Perhaps the main thing to take away here is that there are some irresponsible people out there. Please don’t be one of them. And please be aware that if you’re up on that bit of moor, the gamekeepers might be a bit tetchy about dogs- let’s not give them an excuse to demonise everyone with a dog.

(I note that there is no picture of a Hen Harrier as an endangered species, but there you go…)
