Chris and Caity travelled north to Kirkby Stephen on a windy New Years Day to race the NINE STANDARDS FELL RACE. Chris was an excellent 14th and Caity finished 1st Lady. Results below:-

Also on New Years Day, Carl Bedson made a welcome return from injury by racing at the CAPTAIN COOK RACES from Great Ayton in North Yorkshire. Carl finished in 29th position clocking 37.36

RESULTS 

Kirsty, Sharn and Sikobe raced in the GREATER MANCHESTER CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS held at Boggart Hole Clough in testing muddy conditions. Kirsty finished in an excellent 10th position in the ladies race.

2015_Cross_Country

A blue and orange raiding party swooped down from the hills to the lowlands of Stockport to race in Belle Vue Racers popular HIT THE TRAIL race, a swift little early Januuary lung-buster around Reddish Vale Country Park. Before the race we took the opportunity to present Steve Crossman with the new Age-Graded Trophy which he won in the 2014 Club Championships:-

The Harriers achieved some excellent results in the race itself. Caity was 1st Lady, Kirsty 3rd Lady, Neil 1st V40, and Chris, first back in 8th position, was well supported by Ben (10th), Steve (12th) and Neil (13th) thus securing the mens team prize for the club. Both Kirsty and Sikobe were backing up excellent runs in the XC from the previous day, Clive Smith continued his excellent progress and Malcolm set a PB for the race by almost a 2 minute margin.
