Festive Fun with the Glossopdale Harriers.

1. Thursday December 19th Christmas run with Pennine from the Printers Arms in Thornsett. Mince pies on route, carols then chips in the pub afterwards. Starting at 7pm

2. Saturday 21st December – Solstice run – Actually on the solstice this year. Heading to Wormstones and Harry hut, Leaving the Leisure Centre at 4:30, and hopefully getting there for the actual solstice – at 5:11pm where we’ll toast the coming longer hours of daylight. Any alcoholic refreshments that you wish to come would be most welcome.

3. December 22nd – Social run – starting at 1015 from the Turning Circle- onto Shelf Moor to get lost, wander around and come back. Fancy dress is obligatory for those that wish to participate.

4. December 22nd – Following the social run, (so probably from 1pmish) Christmas party at Caity’s. Please bring food, not drink- we have Tickety Brew Stout from a keg for a quid a pint. If you have pint/half pint glasses, please bring them.

Note that there will also be your LAST chance to get a Club Champs qualification time in the Marple Park Run on the 21st Dec. This Saturday.
