Parkrun Corner

It was the first running of the STAMFORD PARKRUN and a group of harriers went over to savour the experience. Sikobe has written an account of the occasion here. Good times also by Darren A and Becky achieving PBs at Marple as well as strong running by the Swan family.

RESULTS

Closer to home several harriers competed in Des Gibbon’s 3 DAY FESTIVAL consisting of the CHUNAL FELL RACE, MOORFIELD 5K and the JAMES THORN FELL RACE. There was a Ladies Team Prize for Cheryl, Sharn and Eleanor at the Moorfield race. Ben Tetler won the overall series, well done to Nick who is racking up PBs, Clive, Eleanor, Sharn and Roger who completed all 3 races and secured the overall team prize for the club
