Captains Fantastic Tim Budd and Caitlin Rice finished 1st mixed pair and 8th overall at the 59k/3050m OLD COUNTY TOPS FELL RACE. Carrying on the great Glossopdale tradition in this tough ultra race, they clocked an amazing 7hrs 43 minutes breaking the existing longstanding record previously held by Martin Stone and Ruth Pickvance. Excellent runs also by Alasdair Cowell and Neil McGraw (9.24), Paul Skuse and partner Tony (9.36), Zoe Barton and Lindsay Palmer (10.19) and Tim Culshaw and Alice Willson (10.22). Well done everyone!
Chri Jackson had a superb run to finish 11th in 1.36.53 at the CADER IDRIS FELL RACE.
Nick Ham, Andy Wilkins and Joanne Brack ran at the HAYFIELD MAY QUEEN RACE
Nick, Mary Jeal and Beryl Buckley also ran at the tough MOUNT FAMINE FELL RACE
Several harriers also competed at the LANTERN PIKE DASH race. Chris was 3rd overall behind Josh Boyle and Chris Leigh, Caity warmed down after her magnificent OCT with the 1st Lady prize and Sikobe won his first ever prize as a V50

Personal best for Lawrence Fennelly at Bramhall, Andy Burnett 8th overall and just 2 seconds off his best time at Oldham. Meanwhile at the 1st birthday of Marple Junior Parkrun, Caitlin and Josie Swan were celebrating in some style!
Malc Brown ran a course PB and a seasons best of 24.40 at DEBDALE GREAT LOCAL 5K
Lynne Taylor was running to raise funds for the Glossop MRT at the MONTANE HOWGILLS TRAIL 26. Her dedicated training paid off and she ran an excellent race to be first Glossopdale Harrier home in 5 hrs 7 minutes, a good time on a tough hilly trail marathon. Great runs also by Jud Hirst (5.51 and Vicki Hamilton (5.54).
