North Wales Series and Manchester Area XC League

Chris Jackson and Caitlin Rice continued their excellent season at the RHOBELL FAWR fell race. Caitlin finished 1st Lady which meant that both her and Chris finished 2nd under 40s in the NORTH WALES SERIES. What a fitting end to the season and a great result for these two talented young runners!

There was another good turnout of Glossopdale runners in Match 2 of the MANCHESTER AREA CROSS-COUNTRY LEAGUE at Sherdley Park St Helens. On a tough undulating course the women took pride of place with a creditable team placing of 16/40 in this very competitive league.

In the men’s race, John Hewitt was first back for the blue and orange with only 14 secs separating Andy,  Nev and Clive who were next home with John S in hot pursuit. GDH results:-
