Old County Tops

We had four teams in this race this year, with superb sunny conditions there were no navigational challenges but hats off to all competitors finishing in the heat. The race is advertised as 59km / 36.7m with 3050m / 10006ft of ascent – an AL race which, taken from the Achille Ratti website “starts in Great Langdale and takes in the tops of Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Coniston after which the survivors are fed and watered.“

All eight Glossopdale runners can proudly wear their orange race t-shirts, well and truly deserved.
