- Snowdonia Marathon Weekend
Ten harriers raced at the BROOKS SNOWDONIA MARATHON, a counter in the Club Road/Trail and Age-Grade Champs. Tim was first back for the club with a superb sub 3hr run, in the top 20 overall, to bag the 30 pts followed by Chris who posted an excellent time backing up his half-marathon pb in another tough race at Oldham last week. Caity had a tremendous run to finish 4th lady closely followed by Neil who also had a good run. Anthony was having his 1st race as a V50 and Al, Paul, Vicki, Jayne and Marie showed great character and resilience to finish well on the legendary tough route in less than ideal conditions. Thanks also due to Lynne and Sikobe and others out on the course supporting in the wet weather.
All smiles on the Llanberis Pass

Parkrun Corner
Plenty of GDHrs running in the parks on a wet Saturday morning. Pride of place must go to Emma Peters who dipped under 25 minutes for the 1st time for a PB up at Newcastle and Ben Tetler who was 1st back home also in a personal best time at Stamford Park. David Munday also had a PB there on his home course and there were also PBs for Charlie, Ian and Nev at Manor Park. Runners also at Marple and Platt Fields.
