Mid-February Report

Three of Padfield’s finest completed the SELXC final counter at BOGGART HOLE CLOUGH in fine style. Caity Rice won the ladies race to finish 1st in the series. Chris Jackson finished 6th= and Saul Lovatt 19th in the senior mens league. In addition Jo Brack finished a fantastic 3rd in her vet category in her first full season of XC running. The ladies team of Caity, Jo and Lins also finished 3rd team on the day. Good running also by Dan Oldham and John Stephenson

John Hewitt was proud to eventually receive his award for successfully completing the Scottish Long Classics last year.

Parkrun Corner

Mark O set a PB and new benchmark time of 18.09 at Manor Park. PBs also for Matt Crompton, Lins Palmer (on the morning of the xc!), Dan Ellingworth (again!), Jon Matthews and Ezme Brack. John Hewitt was 3rd in a new PB at Mansfield and Phil Pearce ran at Hanley
